The company, established during the 1990s, is a branch of the original "Olabi Co." for Trading & Industry. It started as a small sewing shop floor, 200 square meters, and included one sewing line of an approximate production capacity of 1500 standard T-shirts a day.

In the year of 2000 "Olabi Co." achieved the best turnover figure, in its entire history, of approximately $7.000.000 with a net profit of $500.000. During this period, the company signed several contracts with large European & American clothing corporations. As a result, "Olabi Co." expanded the sewing lines and installed 3 additional lines of 70% production capacity.

At the beginning, "Olabi Co. for Quality Clothing Industries" had a limited experience in the manufacturing processes of jersey wear in that all products were restricted to standard T-shirts. However, nowadays the company produces the most intricate and fashionable jersey and underwear garments for both genders covering all size ranges.

Today, "Olabi Co.'s clothing department is considered one of the largest clothing firms, not only in Syria but also in the entire Middle East. The company is well-known for two brands; the "B.S.T", for casual and urban wear, and the "Extra Tex" for underwear.
