The Planning and Designing Section
1. Customer Relations:
It is established to present our customers with high quality service. Many customers
can not afford managing their businesses overseas for different reasons, thus
"Olabi.co" has taken a further step to provide its customers with
the help needed in that we specify a customer relation representative to handle
tasks such as organizing work in the company, tracing orders at all production
stages and providing customers with reports about production plans and quality
control.
2. Sampling & Pattern Design:
This department is essential in the company's business. It is equipped with
a sewing line provided with the latest technology, machines and highly skilled
and qualified labors who make sure that our high quality samples and products
are delivered to customers in time. All the production procedures are achieved
in the shortest period of time due to the use of the latest technology in pattern
drawing and lectra patterning. "Olabi.co" does not aim, through this
department, to produce the required garments only, the team responsible for
this department also studies alternative approaches and methods which could
be cheaper, easier and respond to our customers' needs and requirements.
The Production and Application Section
1. Circular Knitting:
This department is where we produce our high quality fabrics. It comprises ten
different types of circular knitting machines which manufacture Single Jersey,
Rib, Interlock, P.K and Tow Fleece.
However, this department does not have the machinery to produce Fleece, Lycra
and Jacquard fabrics. Therefore, we tend to produce such fabrics by cooperation
with other companies at very reasonable prices.
2. Spreading & Cutting:
The team in this department consists of 6 professionals who use lectra spreading
system for fabric layout calculations. The method used by the "cutting
team" in this section is characterized by relaxing the fabric on the spreading
table for a certain period of time to guarantee the fabric's recovery of its
normal state after the spreading stage.
3. Sewing Department:
This department, considered to be amongst the finest in the country, comprises
3 separate sewing lines each includes 17 fully automated sewing machines with
a production rate of 1500 garment of standard T-shirts. It features the latest
technologies of chain, over lock and lock stitching auto trimming sewing systems.
The team in this department, which consists of 200 professional members, aims
to modernize and develop the sewing stage. For each order, the sewing machines
are set according to the kind of fabric to guarantee the maximum production
rate by means of the most appropriate and modern sewing manufacturing techniques.
All the garments, after the production stage, are transferred to the "checking
section" to separate faulty from fine garments in that we limit the error
margin from 3.5% up to 1% in the finished goods.
The Packaging & Delivery Section:
Packaging Department:
Packaging Department: It is responsible for pressing and packaging garments
in polybags and cartons according to their colors and sizes as given in the
order details.
The pressing section consists of five pressing tables. The employees are experienced
in almost all pressing, folding and packaging methods which vary according to
the garment types and the fabric construction. Moreover, they are familiar with
all sorts of packaging techniques such as flat packaging (normal folded packing)
or hanger packaging and can easily adapt with any new packaging method.
The average overall production rate of this department is approximately 5000
pressed & packaged garments per shift, 8 hours, which may vary according
to the garment type, size and packaging method.
